Modular Wayfinding System

The objective of the Information Design course was to create a wayfinding system for the classrooms of the department of multimedia and graphic arts of the Cyprus University of Technology.

The final modular wayfinding system consists of icons, typography, and a specific color palette. The icons are based on two concepts: the visual identity of the University and the utilization of the mosaic and its squares to create a complementary identity within the overarching one. By incorporating the squares of the mosaic as a representation of pixels, the system alludes to the advent of the digital era.
