IXN Partnership ─ IBM FISE Hub
This project is featured on the profiles of: Lilia Agathangelou
Developed in the course of MGA340 – Website Development by a team of 5 people. The team firstly started with general research and understanding the brief and then they brainstormed on possible interface ideas based on the previous research. High-fidelity wireframes were created in Adobe XD and the final website was coded with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Throughtout the course of the MGA340 module, the team had taken feedback by their supervisor in CUT, UCL and an IBM representative.
The team had to set up a web platform which hosts three interconnected apps that aim to reduce social isolation which are a) UCL Ask-KITA, an open-source and federated voice assistant framework b) FISE Lounge, an open-sourced video conferencing web app for the socially isolated and elderly c) FISE Concierge, a voice-enabled Android app concierge making public web services more accessible and available to less technologically savvy users.
The three applications need to be integrated into a platform that will inform of their capabilities and their individual services. The team was required to pay attention to the design of information architecture through effective content structuring (within and across pages), as well as to the GUI, which is meant to present, categorize, and guide the user to navigate and consume the 3 apps in an intuitive manner.
